Although the Ops Free Banana initiator Wong Chin Huat is out of town, and two other banana gang couldn't make it, Weisee and I called off the OUG Plaza's Ops Free Banana and decided to explore new venue.

We went to the Taman Aman to spend a healthy morning with the exercise-lover by giving out free banana and disseminate the yellow message.
We went there around 10am, which is quite late, most of the people had gone home after their exercise, but we had a good walk around the lake and give out free banana for those who was interested and curious enough to ask us what was it about.
We then decided to explore further to Taman Paramount LRT station, and we had a good chat with a young lady who was standing there waiting for her friend. She is new to all the issues we brought up, and she hasn't register as a voter. We told her what's happening in the country now, the urgency to have an electoral reform and where to search for more information. I'm not sure how much she had absorbed, hopefully she'll take up some effort to search for more info and make informed choice in the future.
Giving out free banana and talk to people is new for me. It's fun actually. I meet with people and talk to them. One of them asked, why didn't you prepare brochure? I told him that, if you are curious enough to ask, then we shall talk to you, rather than you dump the brochure I gave you the minute you've got it. And meeting and talking face to face is more effective. It's good to let people know that everyone of us can actually initiate something and walk the talk.
During the meeting, all 16 of us (including Jonathan) had something in common, we want change, and willing to work for change. And I felt that I can learn a lot from them.
The states of our society had reach a point where we don't have the luxury to wait for the others to fight for what we want. We must fight for ourselves.
After the fruitful morning and afternoon, I still managed to catch a Swedish movie, it's EU filmfest! While I walked along the shop lots of Mid-Valley, the crowds were busy taking photo and shopping. I looked around, this is the crowd we need to reach out, but how? How could we make them aware of what's happening now, and that their life will be effected by the wrong decision made by the government? Do they care?
